- Racquetball Leagues are on Thursday nights from 6pm - 8pm and will run through April 1st .
- Racquetball challenge courts are available Tuesdays from 5:30pm - 7:30 pm.
- Learn to play racquetball clinics are available by appointment for members.
- This is Vessell's Fitness current group exercise schedule. Check the aerobic schedule for classes and their times.
- Vessell’s offers an AQUA program at the Baymont Motel (Martin Springs Dr.) Free trial classes are available to those interested. Classes are offered Monday's at 4:15pm and Thursday's at 5:15pm. The aqua instructor is Susan Hinkle. Prices for Members of Vessell's is $20.00/Month or if you are a non-member of Vessell's the price is $25.00/Month. Check at Vessell's for additional information.
- Vessell's Fitness suffered a huge loss the
spring of 2007 with the death of Mark Chirban. Vessell's was opened
in October of 1980 by Peggy Vessell. She hired Mark that year as a
fitness trainer and racquet stringer. The couple married in 1983.
They were business partners, headed a ministry team together and
have been involved with many youth sports throughout the years.
Mark & Peggy have 2 sons; David & Nathan who are both involved in
the family business and are nationally ranked racquetball players.
Mark attended LaCrosse University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, majoring
in physical education. He continued to be an avid student of the
Bible, health, fitness, and coaching. Mark home-schooled his sons so
that he would be their main influence in life. His death was very
unexpected and the Chirban family extends their thanks to the
members and staff who have encircled their family with love. We can
never repay all the kindness that has been shown to our family. We
can only hope to emulate it when others are in need. Please know
that by reaching out to us, you have touched our hearts. David has
taken over his father's position in racquet stringing and is
currently working on his Masters degree through Liberty University.
Nathan has taken over computer/office work, and since has graduated
as a certified Massage Therapist.
